"TexShare
is a cooperative program designed to improve library service to Texans.
Members include public libraries that belong to regional library systems,
and academic libraries. TexShare enables participating libraries to
offer a broader range of materials and services than any single library
can provide." (This is a quote from the TexShare web page)
As
a participant in the TexShare program the HPU library is able to offer
extended services to all Howard Payne students, including off-campus
students. Of particular interest to off-campus students is the TexShare
card. TexShare cards are issued by the Howard Payne University library
and can be obtained by off-campus students from their site coordinators.
The card will allow students to borrow library materials from other
participating TexShare libraries in their area.
To
obtain a TexShare card, off-campus students:
1. Must be enrolled at
HPU for the current semester. TexShare cards expire at the end of
each semester.
2. Must not have any outstanding library fines or fees.
3. Must be prepared to present a photo ID when using the TexShare
card.
4. Must abide by the rules and procedures of the lending library.

more information, please visit the TexShare
website.
